Project Overview

S. Walsh Contracts own two state of the art vacuum excavators which are utilised on projects that require excavation in and around existing services. Vacuum excavation has become one of the most popular excavation methods on construction projects, offering a number of benefits and advantages over traditional excavation methods. Vacuum excavation uses a high-powered suction hose which carries loose dirt and debris into a holding tank and is carried away, all on the same piece of equipment.

Scope of Works

  • Vacuum excavation in and around existing live services
  • Safe exposure of buried utilities and infrastructure
  • Excavation to formation level in confined or restricted areas
  • Spoil removal and disposal on-site
